Courtney Mansfield joined the Adaptive Brain lab as a postdoctoral research fellow in January 2024. Her research uses fMRI, MVPA and behavioural methods to investigate human vision. In the lab she is excited to expand her skillset using cutting edge neuroimaging methods for understanding perceptual decisions and learning.
Courtney completed her PhD in Psychology at the University of East Anglia under the supervision of Dr. Fraser Smith focusing on vison under challenging visual conditions such as occlusion, utilising real-world images of objects.
Outside of the lab, Courtney enjoys singing, coffee and reading.
