Adaptive Brain Lab

I completed a BSc in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology in 2014, after which I took a short break to work at a data science consultancy firm in Amsterdam. Afterwards I moved to Hong Kong and completed an interdisciplinary MPhil degree in machine learning and entrepreneurship. This led me to play a central role in setting up a machine learning team for Goldman Sachs' Asia Pacific region. I have published in several venues, including ICML and ACL.

My research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning, neuroscience, and psychology. I'm particularly interested in how mental health conditions affect learning, perception, and decision making.

Apart from that I'm interested in cycling, hiking, producing music, and botany. I am a member of Queens’ college, Cambridge. I have funding for two years from the European Marie Curie network.
