The Adaptive Brain Lab considers PhD student applications on a rolling basis. If you are interested in discussing possibilities for PhD study please contact: Prof Zoe Kourtzi: Please send your CV and a brief statement of research background and interests.

We are always looking for good and enthusiastic post-docs. Contact us to find out about current opportunities, and if you would like to discuss fellowship applications. We have had past success from a number of international schemes.

Current Openings:

Post-doctoral Research Associate positions in Computational Cognitive neuroscience are available to work at the Adaptive Brain Lab ( The work will focus on advanced computational approaches for modelling behavioural and multimodal brain imaging data (e.g. high-field brain imaging, EEG, MEG) including Bayesian modelling, machine learning approaches, reinforcement learning and deep learning.

Post-docs will work with an interdisciplinary team to combine behavioural paradigms, with state-of-the-art brain imaging and computational modelling. They will receive multi-disciplinary research training at the interface between psychology, neuroscience, computer science, engineering and clinical applications.

Applicants should have a PhD, Masters and/or First Degree, together with a strong academic track record, in a relevant area (e.g., Neuroscience, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics). Programming skills are highly desirable and experience with computational modeling and/or brain imaging preferable. If you are interested please send a CV to Zoe Kourtzi at
